Imagine... On a beautiful summer morning, you go by boat without a license to discover Blavet. After a pleasant lunch break in the Ecluserie garden, you go back for a bike ride because the weather is always nice! In the evening, you are tired... But that's good because you sleep on site... in the lock house itself!
On the adventure side: we offer the rental of boats without a license and bicycles to discover Blavet. The Ecluserie is labeled Accueil Vélos. Cyclist friends: you will find everything you need there. On the relaxation side: we welcome you to the Ecluserie garden where it is good to stop for a short break... more or less long. It is possible to have a drink and eat there. As a bonus? You can play a little game of ping pong! We also offer a bed and breakfast available per night. In one and the same place, treat yourself to a complete experience to make the most of this beautiful corner of nature.
The Ecluserie is located in the lock house of Saint Nicolas des Eaux dating from the end of the 19th century. Far from urban hustle and bustle, the Jardin de l'Ecluserie offers a peaceful waterfront setting, inviting contemplation and connection with nature. You can enjoy a drink and/or a meal while soaking up the serene atmosphere that reigns there. Make yourself comfortable with a good book, play a game of chess, or simply let your mind wander to the rhythm of a summer stroll. Inside you will find something to refuel for the rest of your roaming journey. In partnership with local artisans, we also offer local products for curious gourmets eager to discover. L'Ecluserie is a place inspired by our experiences as itinerant travelers. We tried to maintain the authentic and natural character of the lock house and its garden.
Once upon a time, there was a travel-loving duo who worked in a large group in the mobility sector. One day, they hear the call of the open sea, pack up their bags (hello backpacks!) , book two nights in Lima and take off on a journey of four months. Rapidly, their relationship with time changes significantly. At the heart of an omnipresent nature, they are struck by this observation:
What could be more pleasant than this feeling of suspended time, conducive to disconnection, the real one! During their journey, they frequent a variety of accommodations of all types. There they meet a gallery of people, each more interesting than the last. Back in France, rich in their adventures, both know it: a small seed has germinated... heralding new professional desires!
Two years later, freshly arrived in Brittany, the idea took root. They benefit from a convergence of their respective professional careers and are initiating active surveillance, with the intention of resuming an activity in the tourism sector along the coast of South Morbihan. Chance gets involved and they find themselves visiting the establishment that will become L'Ecluserie, formerly called Aventure Fluviale. However, far from their original target perimeter, it is a real crush! They are immediately charmed by the atypical place that is this lock house, the Blavet canal and its peaceful environment. After several boat trips without a license, they are fully convinced of the enchanting nature of the experience and decide to embark on the journey of resuming business! “They” is “us”: Camille and Olivier.
